Decision 83/33

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the progress report on the demonstration project on promoting HFO-based low‑global-warming-potential refrigerants for the air-conditioning sector in high ambient temperatures implemented in Saudi Arabia, submitted by UNIDO and contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/83/11;
2. To extend, on an exceptional basis, noting the advanced progress in implementation and the potential replicability of the results in several Article 5 countries, the completion date of the project referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above, to 31 December 2019, on the understanding that no further extension of project implementation would be requested; and
3. To request UNIDO to submit the final report for the project referred to in sub‑paragraph (a) above no later than the 85^th meeting and to return all remaining balances by the 86^th meeting.
