The Executive Committee decided:
- To note, with appreciation, the final report for the demonstration project at air‑conditioning manufacturers to develop window and packaged air-conditioners using refrigerants with low global-warming potential (GWP) implemented in Saudi Arabia, submitted by the World Bank and contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/83/11; and
- To invite bilateral and implementing agencies to take into account the report referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above when assisting Article 5 countries in preparing projects for manufacturing packaged air-conditioners using low-GWP refrigerants.
