The Executive Committee decided to continue discussing ways to operationalize paragraph 16 of decision XXVIII/2 and paragraph 2 of decision XXX/5 of the Parties (decision 82/83(c)) at its 84th meeting and to use the text contained in Annex XII to the present report as the basis for that discussion.
