Decision 85/11

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the request, submitted by UNDP on behalf of the Government of Malaysia, for the change in technology in 14 foam enterprises from hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) to pre‑blended cyclopentane polyol systems in the context of stage II of the HCFC phase-out management plan (HPMP), contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/85/9; and
2. To approve the change in technology for those 14 foam enterprises from HFOs to pre‑blended cyclopentane polyol systems, on the understanding that the conversions would not be delayed and any additional costs would be covered by the enterprises.
