Decision 86/21

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the annual progress report on the implementation of stage I of the HCFC phase-out management plan (HPMP) for Argentina, submitted by UNIDO and contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/86/21; and
2. To approve, on an exceptional basis and on the understanding that no further extensions would be approved, the extension of stage I of the HPMP to 31 July 2021, owing to the constraints imposed by the coronavirus disease pandemic, which delayed the completion of the activities to support the phase-out of HCFC-141b used as flushing agent by refrigeration servicing technicians.
