The Executive Committee decided:
- To note the annual progress report on implementation of the third and final tranche of stage II of the HCFC phase-out management plan (HPMP) for Chile and the verification report on HCFC consumption for 2019 to 2020 submitted by UNDP, contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/87/9;
- To note that the enterprise Superfrigo had opted not to participate in stage II of the HPMP and that the approved funds of US $103,210 associated with the enterprise, plus agency support costs of US $7,225, would be returned to the Multilateral Fund by UNDP no later than the 89th meeting; and
- To request the Government of Chile, through UNDP as lead implementing agency, to submit progress reports on the implementation of the work programme associated with the final tranche on a yearly basis until the completion of the project, verification reports until approval of stage III and the project completion report to the first meeting in 2023.
