Decision 93/41

The Executive Committee decided to approve the request for the preparation of a pilot project to enhance energy efficiency in the air-conditioning sector in Viet Nam, in the amount of US $30,000, plus agency support costs of US $2,100, for the World Bank, noting that the resulting project would be implemented as part of stage I of the Kigali HFC implementation plan for Viet Nam and would support the implementation of the proposed ban on the manufacture and import of R-410A air-conditioning equipment, contribute to reduced demand for R-410A in air-conditioning servicing and facilitate the strengthening of minimum energy performance standards in the air-conditioning sector.
