Decision 94/2

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To note:
   1. The report on balances and availability of resources contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/94/4;
   2. That the net level of funds being returned by the implementing agencies at the 94^th meeting was US $1,362,594 consisting of US $239,606, plus agency support costs of US $17,619, from UNDP; US $469,599, plus agency support costs of US $44,402, from UNEP; and US $551,985, plus agency support costs of US $39,383, from UNIDO;
   3. That UNDP held balances of US $71,695, including agency support costs, for seven projects completed over two years previously;
   4. That UNIDO held balances of US $72,926, including agency support costs, for five projects completed over two years previously, US $823,615, including agency support costs, for three projects completed “by decision of the Executive Committee” and US $116,758, including agency support costs, for four completed projects funded using the additional voluntary contributions made by a group of donor countries to finance fast-start activities for the implementation of HFC phase‑down;
2. To request UNDP and UNIDO:
   1. To proceed with disbursement or to cancel committed and not-committed funds that were not needed for completed projects, and to return the associated balances at the 95^th meeting;
   2. To proceed with disbursement or to cancel commitments for the projects completed over two years previously, and to return balances at the 95^th meeting; and
3. To request UNIDO to proceed with disbursement or return at the 95^th meeting the balances of the projects completed “by decision of the Executive Committee” and the completed projects funded using the additional voluntary contributions.
