Decision 95/20

The Executive Committee decided: 

1. To note the report on the steps taken to strengthen the HCFC import and export licensing and quota systems for Mauritania, in the context of stage I of the HCFC phase-out management plan (HPMP), submitted by UNEP and contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/95/20;
2. To request:
   1. UNEP to prepare a report on the uses of HCFCs by foreign vessels in 2023 as part of the preparation of stage II of the HPMP for Mauritania and to include the report as part of the submission of stage II; and
   2. The Government of Mauritania to start reporting, as of 2024, in its country programme implementation reports and Article 7 data, the types and amounts of HCFC used by foreign vessels.
