Decision 96/53

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the updated report on the issue of alternatives in polyurethane (PU) foam manufacturing with a focus on small- and medium sized enterprises, in particular for spray and insulating foam applications (decision 94/58(c)), contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/96/60;
2. To consider the information contained in the document referred to in subparagraph (a), above, while discussing the issue of alternatives in the PU foam manufacturing sector; and
3. To request the Secretariat to update its report contained in the document referred to in subparagraph (a), above, for consideration at the 98th meeting.
