The Executive Committee decided:
- To note the reports on progress achieved in completing stage I of the HCFC phase-out management plan for Iraq, the country’s national phase-out plan (first tranche) (IRQ/PHA/58/INV/09) and the project to replace refrigerant CFC-12 with isobutane and foam-blowing agent CFC-11 with cyclopentane in the manufacturing of domestic refrigerators and chest freezers at Light Industries Company in Iraq (IRQ/REF/57/INV/07), as submitted by UNIDO and contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/96/11; and
- To request UNIDO to submit to the 97th meeting a progress report on the completion of projects referred to in subparagraph (a), above.
