On the basis of the informal discussions and subsequent bilateral discussions, the Executive Committee decided:
- To note the progress report on the implementation of the fifth tranche of the industrial and commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning (ICR) sector plan of stage II of the HCFC phase out management plan (HPMP) for China;
- To approve the sixth tranche of the ICR sector plan of stage II of the HPMP for China, and the corresponding 2026–2027 tranche implementation plan, in the amount of US $7,559,464, plus agency support costs of US $529,162, for UNDP; and
- To request UNDP to submit detailed reports on the results of demonstration projects on technologies with low global-warming potential in the cold chain industry once they were completed, to enable the Secretariat to develop fact sheets that would inform future projects.
