The Executive Committee decided to approve the pilot project to enhance the energy efficiency of replacement technologies and equipment in the context of HFC phase-down (non-investment activities): Creation of an enabling environment for the uptake of energy-efficient refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment for Morocco, in the amount of US $266,000, plus agency support costs of US $18,620 for UNIDO, noting:
- That the Government of Morocco had committed to the conditions referred to in decision 91/65(b)(iv)b to b(iv)d.; and
- That the project would be operationally completed no later than 31 December 2028, and that a detailed project report would be submitted to the Executive Committee within six months of the date of completion of the project.
