Decision 98/19

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To note:
   1.  The report on tranche submission delays contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/98/9;
   2. The information on tranche submission delays under multi-year agreements (MYAs) submitted by the Governments of France and Germany, UNDP, UNEP, UNIDO and the World Bank;
   3. That 31 out of 72 activities (18 out of 43 countries) related to MYA tranches due for submission at the 98th meeting had been submitted on time;
       
   4. That relevant bilateral and implementing agencies had indicated that the late submission of the tranches of HCFC phase-out management plans and Kigali HFC implementation plans due for submission at the first meeting in 2026 would have no impact on countries’ compliance with the Montreal Protocol, and that there was no indication, except in one case, that the countries concerned were in non compliance with the Montreal Protocol control measures; and
2. To request the Secretariat to send letters to the relevant Governments regarding the decisions on tranche submission delays contained in annex XXXVIII to the present report.
