Subsequently, the Executive Committee decided:
- Taking into account decision XXXV/13, to remind bilateral and implementing agencies, as well as Article 5 countries that were concerned about potential non-compliance caused by the import of prohibited cooling equipment, that they could include activities within new stages of Kigali HFC implementation plans (KIPs) or HCFC phase-out management plans (HPMPs) to strengthen capacities to prevent such imports; and
- To request the Secretariat to discuss with bilateral and implementing agencies how such activities had been implemented to date and what the relevant challenges were to address, taking into account the potential for regional coordination.
