23.  The Committee authorized expenditure, as soon as sufficient contributions had been received, under new budget lines 4201 (Furniture) of $320,000, and 4301 (Rent of Offices) of $272,110. It authorized UNEP to sign the lease for the proposed accommodation for five years and to purchase furniture for these offices.
