26.    The Executive Committee stressed that the decisions made applied to the Interim Multilateral Ozone Fund would be made after a review of the interim arrangements. Members of the Executive Committee emphasized that the location of the Fund Secretariat outside Nairobi should not be taken as a precedent for the establishment of possible futures secretariats, e.g. for climate of biological diversity, at another venue than Nairobi. Members of the Executive Committee were convinced that the establishment of the Multilateral Ozone Fund as now decided gives further strength to UNEP.
