Noting decision 80/43 under agenda item 9(a), Overview of issues identified during project review, the Executive Committee decided to approve the request by UNDP for funding of the preparation of a technology demonstration project to convert HFC-23 by-product to valuable organic halides by reaction with hydrogen and carbon dioxide for Liaocheng Fuer New Material Technology Ltd., in China, in the amount of US $30,000, plus agency support costs of US $2,100, to be funded by additional voluntary contributions from non-Article 5 countries.
