Decision 97/10

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To note, with appreciation, the progress reports as at 31 December 2024, submitted by the Governments of Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/97/12;
2. To approve the extension of the completion dates of the projects listed below to allow completion of the remaining ongoing activities, as reflected in table 5 of document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/97/12:
   1. Conversion from HFC-134a to isobutane in the manufacture of domestic refrigerators at Capri (SME Harare) for Zimbabwe (ZIM/REF/82/INV/56) (implemented by the Government of France), to June 2026;
   2. Preparation of a national inventory of banks of waste controlled substances and development of a national plan for the management of those substances (decision 91/66) for Liberia (LIR/DES/93/PRP/36) and Seychelles (SEY/DES/93/PRP/31) (implemented by the Government of Germany), to December 2026; and
3. To approve also the recommendations related to ongoing projects with specific issues contained in annex IV to the present report.
