The Executive Committee decided to approve the projects and activities submitted for blanket approval at the levels of funding indicated in annex XVII to the present report, together with the implementation programmes associated with the relevant tranches of multi year projects, relevant conditions or provisions included in the corresponding project evaluation documents, and conditions attached to the projects by the Executive Committee, noting:
- That the following Agreements had been updated:
- Between the Government of Bhutan and the Executive Committee for the HCFC phase-out management plan (HPMP), specifically paragraph 1 and Appendix 2-A, to reflect the revised schedule of the final tranche, the inclusion of funding for additional activities to maintain energy efficiency in the refrigeration servicing sector and the adjustment to the servicing tail; Appendix 5-A, to reflect the update on monitoring institutions and roles; and paragraph 16, which had been added to indicate that the updated Agreement superseded that reached at the 63rd meeting (decision 63/44), as contained in annex XVIII to the present report;
- Between the Government of Chile and the Executive Committee for stage III of the HPMP, specifically paragraph 9 and Appendix 2-A, to reflect the change in lead implementing agency from UNIDO to UNDP requested by the Government of Chile; and paragraph 17, which had been added to indicate that the revised Agreement superseded that reached at the 88th meeting (decision 88/56), as contained in annex XIX to the present report;
- Between the Government of Costa Rica and the Executive Committee for stage II of the HPMP, specifically: Appendix 2-A, to reflect the inclusion of funding for additional activities to maintain energy efficiency in the commercial refrigeration servicing sector; and paragraph 17, which had been added to indicate that the updated Agreement superseded that reached at the 84th meeting (decision 84/75), as contained in annex XX to the present report;
- Between the Government of Jamaica and the Executive Committee for stage II of the HPMP, specifically Appendix 2-A, to reflect the inclusion of funding for additional activities to maintain energy efficiency in the refrigeration servicing sector; and paragraph 17, which had been added to indicate that the updated Agreement superseded that reached at the 86th meeting (decision 86/72), as contained in annex XXI to the present report;
- Between the Governments of the Pacific island countries (Cook Islands, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia (Federated States of), Nauru, Niue, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu) and the Executive Committee for stage II of the HPMP, specifically Appendix 2-A, to reflect the inclusion of funding for additional activities to maintain energy efficiency in the refrigeration servicing sector and the advancement of the second tranche of stage II of the HCFC phase-out management plan from 2025 to 2024; and paragraph 17, which had been added to indicate that the updated Agreement superseded that reached at the 86th meeting (decision 86/77), as contained in annex XXII to the present report;
- Between the Government of Rwanda and the Executive Committee for stage II of the HPMP, specifically Appendix 2-A, to reflect the inclusion of funding for additional activities to maintain energy efficiency in the refrigeration servicing sector; and paragraph 17, which had been added to indicate that the updated Agreement superseded that reached at the 86th meeting (decision 86/79), as contained in annex XXIII to the present report;
- Between the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the Executive Committee for the HPMP, specifically Appendix 2-A, to reflect the revised funding level owing to the inclusion of funding for additional activities to maintain energy efficiency in the refrigeration servicing sector; and paragraph 16, which had been added to indicate that the updated Agreement superseded that reached at the 64th meeting (decision 64/38), as contained in annex XXIV to the present report;
- Between the Government of Uganda and the Executive Committee for stage II of the HPMP, specifically Appendix 2-A, to reflect the inclusion of funding for additional activities to maintain energy efficiency in the refrigeration servicing sector; and paragraph 17, which had been added to indicate that the updated Agreement superseded that reached at the 86th meeting (decision 86/83), as contained in annex XXV to the present report; and
- That, for projects related to the renewal of institutional strengthening projects, blanket approval included approval of the observations to be communicated to recipient Governments, as contained in annex XXVI to the present report.
