The Executive Committee decided:
- To note the progress report of UNDP as at 31 December 2024 contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/97/13;
- To approve the extension of the completion dates of the projects listed below to allow completion of the remaining ongoing activities, as reflected in table 5 of document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/97/13:
- Conversion from HFC-134a to isobutane in the manufacture of domestic refrigerators at Capri (SME Harare) for Zimbabwe (ZIM/REF/82/INV/55), to June 2026;
- Preparation of a national inventory of banks of waste controlled substances and development of a national plan for the management of those substances (decision 91/66) for the following countries:
- Cuba (CUB/DES/93/PRP/69), Egypt (EGY/DES/93/PRP/155), Jamaica (JAM/DES/93/PRP/46), Peru (PER/DES/93/PRP/64), Trinidad and Tobago (TRI/DES/93/PRP/43) and Uruguay (URU/DES/93/PRP/82), to December 2026;
- Chile (CHI/DES/94/PRP/213) and Panama (PAN/DES/94/PRP/58), to June 2027; and
- To approve also the recommendations related to ongoing projects with specific issues contained in annex V to the present report.
