Decision 97/12

The Executive Committee decided: 

1. To note the progress report of UNEP as at 31 December 2024 contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/97/14;
2. To approve the extension of the completion dates of the preparation of a national inventory of banks of waste controlled substances and development of a national plan for the management of those substances (decision 91/66) for the countries listed below to allow completion of the remaining ongoing activities, as reflected in table 5 of document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/97/14:
   1. Armenia (ARM/DES/93/PRP/29), Bolivia (the Plurinational State of) (BOL/DES/93/PRP/57), Guatemala (GUA/DES/93/PRP/64), Honduras (HON/DES/93/PRP/61), the Republic of Moldova (MOL/DES/93/PRP/48) and Yemen (YEM/DES/93/PRP/48), to June 2026;
   2. Costa Rica (COS/DES/93/PRP/68), the Dominican Republic (DOM/DES/93/PRP/77), El Salvador (ELS/DES/93/PRP/47), Paraguay (PAR/DES/94/PRP/49), Saint Lucia (STL/DES/94/PRP/41) and Somalia (SOM/DES/94/PRP/21), to December 2026;
   3. Belize (BZE/DES/94/PRP/46), Cambodia (KAM/DES/94/PRP/47), Grenada (GRN/DES/94/PRP/37) and Guyana (GUY/DES/94/PRP/40), to June 2027; and
3. To approve also the recommendations related to ongoing projects with specific issues contained in annex VI to the present report
